Coastal Scents 78 Palette review

I bought this on Ebay.ph from a local reseller. I met up with her because I wanted to make sure that the palette will be in excellent condition, meaning no broken eyeshadow or blushes. I paid P1,250 for it which I think is a fair price since this is priced at Coastal Scents site for $21.95 plus shipping. She was also selling the nude palette or the 28 pc palette for the same price but I opted for this since I love doing different color eye shadows and I love blushes as well.... also the fact that I cannot do nude or brown eyeshadow looks LOL (^_^).

There are 72 eye shadow colors: mix of matte and shimmers and 6 blushes. The eye shadows are quite pigmented and they are not chalky, if you want the colors to look more bold you can use a primer or a good base but if you just want a wash of color you can use it alone. I used this alone the first time I tried it because I wanted to see if it will crease or fade in a few hours, so the verdict after 4 hours there was minimal creasing the colors of the eye shadows are still pretty but it was not as vivid like when I applied it first. With a base this will last a looong time and it made the color of the eye shadow really stand out and pop. I have not used or tired all colors included in the palette but I'm
pretty sure that all the eye shadow will deliver.
Now my take on the 6 blushes. I've only tried 4 of it because this 4 are the only ones I can use, I have not been able to use the lightest and the one with shimmers. The blushes are quite pigmented and staying power is pretty good though I can't really be sure because I always use my Avon mousse blush under my powder blushes. I'm contented with the blushes because my first requirement in my face make-up is 'it should not break me out' and I'm quite happy that these did not give me any trouble.

I'm still eying the 24 pc palette from Coastal Scents, hopeful
ly this one becomes locally available as well and that I would still have the money to get one...hahaha (^_^)

So, yes I highly recommend this palette! Oh before I forget the sponge applicators that's included well I never took them off because I've watched a lot of review on YouTube that once you take 'em off you can not place it back, I don't a problem with that because I have other sponge applicators and I love using my eye brushes when applying eye shadow anyway.
